INTELLIGENCE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS (IOTC)

The Intelligence Officer Training Corps (IOTC) program is a pilot scholarship program modeled on the military's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. Intelligence agencies and elements within the U.S. Intelligence Community specify needs for personnel with critical skills to the Office of the Centers of Academic Excellence (IC CAE) within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The IC CAE will field applications, identify possible matches and refer candidates to intelligence agencies and elements for review and selection. Selected participants may be offered tuition support if they commit to accepting a position upon graduation and serving one year as an Intelligence Officer for each year of scholarship funding received. Scholarship recipients would receive tuition payments and might receive stipends for study-related expenses such as textbooks, laboratory fees and study-related travel.
