National Counterproliferation Center
Who We Are
One of the ODNI's three national centers, the National Counterproliferation Center (NCPC) was founded on November 21, 2005 to help the United States counter the threats caused by the proliferation of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons. Most of the NCPC staff are detailees from Intelligence Community agencies as well as the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy.
NCPC has four directorates, each led by a deputy director: Intelligence Integration; Interdiction & CP Facilitation; Resource Management & Investment; and WMD - Security Issues.
