DNI Statement on Senate Intelligence Committee’s vote to reauthorize the FISA Amendments Act

Today’s important vote by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence to reauthorize the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Amendments Act through June 1, 2017 is an important step toward ensuring the Intelligence Community can collect intelligence that is vital to protect the nation against international terrorism and other threats. We appreciate the work and oversight of Chairman Feinstein, Vice Chairman Chambliss and the Committee Members on this important legislation.
