Statement by Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper on the Signing of the Intelligence Authorization Act for FY 2011

Today the President signed the FY 2011 Intelligence Authorization Act into law. Congressional oversight of intelligence is not only essential in our democracy but also important to the effective and efficient operations of our Intelligence Community. We look forward to continuing our frequent and transparent interactions with the congressional intelligence oversight committees.
