of Rear Admiral Robert D. Sharp

The Director of National Intelligence and the Under Secretary of Defense Intelligence congratulate Rear Admiral Robert D. Sharp on his selection for promotion to Vice Admiral and his confirmation as the Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Sharp carries a wealth of experience across the intelligence and defense communities and will serve our country well in this important national security post. We look forward to welcoming him in February when he succeeds Robert Cardillo who has led NGA for the last four years. We thank Robert for his steadfast leadership and unwavering dedication to the Intelligence Community and Nation.
