The Nimitz Warfare Analysis Center conducts all-source and geospatial operations in support of Fleet and Joint warfighting operations and national decision makers' requirements. The Naval Warfare Department (NWD) in Nimitz provides detailed analysis of naval warfare threats posed by foreign weapons systems and countries of interest by leveraging the tactical expertise of Fleet experienced officers, Sailors, civilians, and contractors.

The incumbent will serve as a first-level supervisor within NWD's SPECTRUM Division on the China Branch. The incumbent will Oversees the branch's production of comprehensive all-source analysis to Navy warfighters, Navy and DoD staffs, the acquisition community, the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), and foreign allied government customers. Seeks out, advocates for, and supports mission area analytic and process innovation.

• Experience supervising all-source analytic teams at the GG-14 level
• Experience organizing, planning and directing the work of a subordinate staff of analysts performing all-source research and analysis.
• Experience supervising DCIPS employees
• Experience supervising military and contractors
• Experience supervising C5ISR&T, EW, and Cyber all-source analysts

Work is sedentary; however, short deadlines and suspense may require working under stressful environments. Work typically is performed in an adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated office. CONUS TDYs of short duration maybe required.
Has an option to extend an additional 12 months
