The Intelligence Learning Network (ILN) operates under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence authority to “promote a more effective and productive intelligence community through cross-disciplinary education and joint training.” The ILN is made up of the Office of the Chief of the ILN, and the staff and curriculum that support the goals and authority of the DNI. The Intelligence Learning Network (ILN) delivers Intelligence Community (IC) learning and professional development programs, builds an integrated network for IC education and training activities through shared best practices and learning technologies.

Courses

Joint Duty - ILN - Course:Understanding the Intelligence Community

Framed by the National Intelligence Strategy and designed by the Intelligence Learning Network, this program blends an online collaborative exploration of five modules followed by a 4 day in class session. Through a combination of online learning, guest speakers, panels, facilitated discussions, and exercises, participants begin to understand the complexity of the whole of the Intelligence Community.

Eligibility : All grades
Duration: Virtual 3 weeks - In class 4 days


Joint Duty - ILN - Course:Integrating the Intelligence Community

In this class, 50-60 officers from around the Community interact with each other and senior thought leaders to explore the context behind integration, the authorities and directions that shape it, the strategies and initiatives that guide it, and emerging opportunities to leverage its benefits. Informed by the National Intelligence Strategy, this four-week program blends a 21-day online component with a four-day in-class plenary that includes distinguished speakers, facilitated breakout sessions with interactive learning exercises, and panel discussions.

Eligibility : GS-13 to GS-15 and equivalents
Duration: Virtual 3 weeks - In class 4 days


Joint Duty - ILN - Course: Leading the Intelligence Community

This program is designed to engage participants to think strategically and creatively about leadership, and to broaden their influence over integration and collaboration in the Intelligence Community, along with our federal, state, local and private sector partners.

Eligibility : IC senior executives
Duration: In class 3 non-consecutive weeks
