Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE)

The ICIG works closely with CIGIE to address integrity, economy, and effectiveness issues that transcend individual government agencies, and to increase the professionalism and effectiveness of personnel by developing policies, standards, and approaches to aid in the establishment of a well trained and highly skilled workforce in the Offices of Inspectors General.

On October 1, 2017, the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency announced the official launch of Oversight.gov. This new website provides a “one stop shop” to follow the ongoing oversight work of all Offices of Inspectors General that publicly post reports. FIORC is composed of the following non-political intelligence oversight, review, and security entities of the Five Eyes countries:

  • The Office of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security of Australia

  • The Commissioner of Intelligence Warrants and the Office of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security of New Zealand
