Clapper: Sequestration 'quite damaging' to national intelligence

Agency leaders across government are going on the offensive to send Congress a message about sequestration. They want Congressional leaders to know the Defense Department isn't the only agency that sequestration will hurt.
National Intelligence Director James Clapper spoke with Federal News Radio's Francis Rose about his agency's ability to meet its mission if sequestration becomes a reality.
Further complicating the sequestration issue for Clapper is the fact that the National Intelligence program is spread across six different cabinet departments.
Clapper said he will hold a meeting next week with intelligence community leaders to examine their individual plans for sequestration.
