A few thousand intelligence community employees are seeing what their future technology tools and infrastructure look like.

Many Americans probably don't know that there is a senior official whose job by law is to help ensure that civil liberties and privacy protections are built into intelligence programs. I am that official - the "Civil Liberties Protection Officer." I engage with the director of national intelligence and other intelligence officials to oversee and guide intelligence activities.

NGIC ceremony recognizes new commander

In a rare display of pomp and circumstance for the Charlottesville area’s military community, servicemembers and civilians gathered at the National Ground Intelligence Center on Tuesday as outgoing Col. Stephen Gomillion welcomed his successor, Col. Nichoel Brooks, to the station’s command post.
Two fallen Navy petty officers became the 18th and 19th recipients of the National Intelligence Medal for Valor in a July 22 ceremony at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence here.
The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), in partnership with the Defense Intelligence Agency's Missile and Space Intelligence Center and the Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence produced the 2013 Ballistic and Cruise Missile Threat assessment. This assessment is an update to the 2009 edition of the same name.
