The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), announced today that it has embarked on a multi-year research effort to develop a superconducting computer. If successful, technology developed under the Cryogenic Computer Complexity (C3) program will pave the way to a new generation of superconducting supercomputers that are far more energy efficient.

New Intelligence Agency Established

The National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) debuts Monday as the U.S. intelligence community seeks to stay ahead of the aggressive evolution of complicated espionage, cyber and security threats.
