Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines today took the oath of office to serve as the seventh DNI in our nation's history. Haines is the first woman to lead the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines today submitted to Congress an Intelligence Community assessment regarding the Saudi Government’s role in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The release of this assessment is consistent with the law and delivers on the DNI’s commitment to submit an unclassified report to Congress. .

Today the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released new procedures approved by the Director of National Intelligence and the Attorney General governing the conduct of ODNI intelligence activities.
