Usama bin Ladin Document Release
Today the ODNI released a sizeable tranche of documents recovered during the raid on the compound used to hide Usama bin Ladin. The release, which followed a rigorous interagency review, aligns with the President’s call for increased transparency–consistent with national security prerogatives–and the 2014 Intelligence Authorization Act, which required the ODNI to conduct a review of the documents for release.

DNI Statement on the Retirement of Al Tarasiuk, IC Chief Information Officer
After more than 28 years of public service, Al Tarasiuk, the Intelligence Community Chief Information Officer, will retire today. Al was appointed by President Obama in 2011 and his leadership has greatly benefited the entire Intelligence Community.

ODNI Releases Second Annual Statistical Transparency Report Regarding Use of National Security Authorities

Accordingly, the DNI has declassified and directed the release of the following information covering calendar year 2014.

ODNI Marks 10 Years of Intelligence Integration
On April 22, 2005 the Office of the Director of National Intelligence began full operations, fostering over the course of the ensuing decade, an integrated IC that provides the most complete and insightful intelligence possible to our national leaders, policy makers and military. Through our leadership efforts, we have demonstrated the value of integration to the wider community and can take pride in a number of successful achievements and innovations.
