WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released the Annual Statistical Transparency Report (ASTR) regarding the Intelligence Community’s (IC) use of National Security Surveillance Authorities for 2021. The release of the report is consistent with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (FISA), as amended (codified in 50 U.S.C. § 1873(b)), and the IC’s Principles of Intelligence Transparency.

 

Today, consistent with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (FISA), as amended (codified in 50 U.S.C. § 1873(b)), and the Intelligence Community’s (IC) Principles of Intelligence Transparency, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released the ninth annual Statistical Transparency Report Regarding Use of National Security Surveillance Authorities.

 

Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence Dr. Stacey Dixon highlighted the role of partnerships in the space domain at the 37th Annual Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 5..

DNI Hosts Discussion with NGA Director

Vice Adm. Robert Sharp, the seventh director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, joined Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines for an ODNI-hosted discussion in McLean, Virginia, March 21. The conversation focused on the importance of partnerships in the Intelligence Community, his leadership philosophy, and his legacy in the IC as he prepares to retire.
