(July 2022) The Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (IC IG) completed an inspection of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s compliance with the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019 (PIIA) 31 U.S.C. §§ 3351-3358 (Public Law 116-117), pursuant to direction set forth in PIIA, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Requirements for Payment Integrity Improvement (OMB Circular A-123), revised March 5, 2021, and the Financial Reporting Requirements (OMB Circular A-136), revised August 10, 2021. OMB establishes implementing guidance for PIIA and requires Office of Inspectors General to conduct an annual improper payment review of PIIA compliance.
