On January 18, 2023, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines participated in the panel, “Restoring Security and Peace,” at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Fareed Zakaria from CNN moderated the panel, which also included North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg; President of Poland Andrzej Duda; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Canada Chrystia Freeland; and First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko. WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) today published the 2022 Annual Report on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).

 

 

The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 required the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, to submit an annual report to Congress on unidentified aerial phenomena. ODNI submitted the classified annual report to Congress and published the unclassified annual report.

 

As 2022 comes to a close, we at ODNI reflect on some of the year’s highlights.
