WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Director of National Intelligence Avril D. Haines today issued the following statement:

“On behalf of the Intelligence Community (IC), I thank Christy Abizaid for her principled, effective, and dedicated leadership as the 8th Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC). Since being sworn in as NCTC Director more than three years ago, Christy led the Center to address an evolving counterterrorism threat environment while also preparing the NCTC workforce for future challenges. I am incredibly grateful for Christy’s extraordinary counsel and knowledge, as well as for her kindness, courage, and dedication to NCTC and our nation’s security. We will miss her deeply and wish her all the best as she departs NCTC this week.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) today released its inaugural Vision for the IC Information Environment: An Information Technology Roadmap.

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) today joined partners from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom in warning about continued efforts by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to recruit current and former Western military personnel to train the PRC military.

 

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) today released the Intelligence Community (IC) Policy Framework for Commercially Available Information (CAI). Increasingly important to our work, CAI also poses novel issues related to privacy and civil liberties, and ODNI created this Policy Framework to govern the IC’s access to, collection, and processing of CAI.
