PERSONNEL SECURITY ADJUDICATIONS COURSE (PSAC)
PURPOSE: This curriculum prepares security professionals functioning as an authorized adjudicative entity (Personnel Security Specialist or Adjudicator) to conduct adjudications of covered individuals to determine eligibility for initial or continued access to classified national security information or eligibility to occupy a sensitive position. The curriculum satisfies the National Training Standards for National Security Adjudication for making Trust Determinations within Federal government departments and agencies (D/As) in accordance with the Security Executive Agent Directive 4, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704, and Trusted Workforce 2.0, Common Principles for Applying Federal Personnel Vetting Adjudicative Standards.
TARGET AUDIENCE: This training is available to U.S. Government and military personnel engaged in intelligence activities, as well as NT-50, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial personnel working with the Intelligence Community and private industry contracted with the U.S. Government on Intelligence Activities.

SPECIAL SECURITY OFFICER COURSE (SSOC)
PURPOSE: Security Professionals who are responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of SCI indoctrinated personnel, SCI facilities, and/or SCI programs are encouraged to attend this training. During the course, attendees receive an overview of Personnel, Physical, and Information Security disciplines.
TARGET AUDIENCE: This training is available to U.S. Government and military personnel engaged in intelligence activities, as well as NT-50, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial personnel working with the Intelligence Community and private industry contracted with the U.S. Government on Intelligence Activities.

- Executive Order 10450 (PDF), Security Requirements for Government Employment, April 27, 1953 Requires that all persons employed in Government departments and agencies be reliable, trustworthy, of good conduct and character, and of complete and unswerving loyalty to the United States
- Executive Order 12968 (PDF), Access to Classified Information, August 2, 1995 Establishes a uniform Federal personnel security program for employees who will be considered for initial or continued access to classified.
- Executive Order 13467 (PDF), Reforming Processes Related to Suitability for Government Employment, Fitness for Contractor Employees, and Eligibility for Access to Classified National Security Information, (June 30, 2008). Expanded on IRTPA requirements to further align and guide reform efforts within Government
